Artist Bio

I’m Amanda Leigh Harris, the artist and surface pattern designer behind Charleigh Dot Designs. My work blends romantic florals, modern geometry, and nostalgic motifs with palettes that feel calm, collected, and product-ready. I’m drawn to the kind of design that feels timeless without being stiff: a little softness, a little structure, and details you notice twice.

I create both standalone designs and cohesive pattern collections, depending on what a brand needs. That includes hero prints, spot illustrations, art prints, supporting coordinates, colorways, and custom assets that help a product line feel complete. Some projects start with a single statement design. Others call for a full family of prints. I love both.

My background as a quilter and maker influences everything I do, from how a print reads at a distance to how it behaves in repeat. I pay close attention to usability, scale, and the “supporting cast” prints that make a collection feel finished. The result is artwork that’s decorative and emotional, but also practical for real production.
